Default IS THE 08' or 09' VANTAGE FOR ME

hi Im in the process of buying my first 100k + car and ive always love the look of the aston martins. I sat in a db9 and vantage the other day but didnt get to test drive them. The db9 is nice but seems sorta big. I felt i couldnt see over the dash very good. To me the vantage looks the best inside and outside and just from sitting in it felt easier to control already. But i Dont want to be shown up by every competing car out there at a red light. I want to drive a car thats going take me to lala land and feel like a million bucks driving it with confidence that im driving one of the best and fastest cars on the road. Will a vantage be for me???

Default For you?

Not sure exactly what you are concerned with after reading the second half of your question. The Vantage will attract other fast cars to see what you have, a day does not go by when it doesn't happen. But if you are just worried about being shown up, it can hold its own with most if you care to engage.
My thought on the car feeling big, and not being able to see very well over the dash. The Vantage is basically the same cockpit, so its no difference from the DB9. You really need to feel comfortable in any car you drive.

ya it looks like the same cockpit but i definatly felt like i was in a smaller car when i was in the vantage. Maybe its a mental thing and next time ill pay more attention. I guess I wont really know unless i test drive both of them. Have you driven the new 09 vantage?

I havent seen it. I heard the 09 is a bit faster and has the saphire key that you put in the dash. Is that true?

It feels faster and pulls harder than the 08. And the key is crystal, saphirre is reserved for the DBS.

Yeah, way different car. The Vantage can be a daily and the Ferrari is a hard core sports car.

Wow, good question! Cars thrill me in general, especially the ones you mentioned. I think the AMV8 for me has all the things I look for in a car. Its fast, great interior, great sound system, an exhaust note that makes me smile everytime I hit the pedal, and its a moving work of art.

To be very frank with you,

I don't think you are really telling the truth. Unless you're talking about models. From you writing I would say you're a 13-14 year old.

Just read some of your earlier posts, there's more then ten grammar mistakes in each one.

John

Good for you. That doesn't mean you can't learn to type in full sentences. It comes across much better. It isn't a "success" thing. It's a maturity thing.

Back to one of your earlier posts, schedule test drives in the Aston, Porsche, and Ferrari all over the same weekend. After driving the three, see which one grabs your soul and puts the biggest smile on your face. Everyone is different and there is no right answer.
