Question DB7/Jaguar XK8 Steering Wheel Compatibility

I have a 1998 DB7 with a completely-leather steering wheel. I would like to replace it with a wood wheel.

Aston itself used to offer such a wheel, but doesn't any longer through its parts system.

Jaguar, however, has a wood/leather wheel for its 1998 XK8 (Jaguar part #HJB-9181DB/LEG). This is the version without the cruise-control controls.

As the DB7 shared various components with the XK8, and as these wheels seem to be visually similar, does anyone know whether this XK8 wheel can indeed serve as a direct replacement for the DB7 one? It's a US$600+ non-returnable item, so I don't want to order one unless I have some assurance that it will fit.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Default Steering Wheel

The steering wheel is the same from a XJ6 model 1995-1997.
I think its easy to find in second hands
