The Elise

I made a quick stop at the Lotus dealer specifically to check out the Elise because I haven't seen one up close and it's my favorite car ever made.
Turns out they had 8 of them! These cars are so beautiful it's ridiculous. Anyway I didn't have time to get a sit in one because we had to get back home (it's like 250 miles away).
But I tell you I will have one of these some day when they come down to like $15,000.

I have driven one a couple of times. It is a high powered go-kart. Great fun on back roads. Terrifying on highways. You feel like a bug about to get squashed by a truck.

Are they pretty common in Europe?
Like how often do you see them?

In the UK, I see them all the time. In the rest of Europe they are much less common.

they sell pretty good in belgium

i tend to see several a week, especially during the summer period

During the summer, it is almost impossible to go out in the UK and not see one.
