New government insurance laws

Did anyone else read in the British press this week, and I quote :-

" Drivers who do not insure the car(s) face a fine of up to £1000 or having their vehicle confiscated, even if it is NOT taken on the road, under new government powers ".

I have a small collection of cars, including some that are virtually wrecks bought to restore, and I am sure so do millions of others. It looks like we'll have to insure those now !!!!!!!!!!!!
