Default Problem: DB9 with fuse 22 pulled

So i got this db9 like 8 months ago. few days after i got it, i pulled fuse 22 so the exhaust valves remain open.

A few days ago i was driving my car and i got a message "Emission System Service Required" on the display. And the car was mis-firing a bit.

So i took my car to a trusted garage, they test-drove the car and when they brought it back, the section right before the exhausts was literally red hot. they said it's extremely dangerous to drive like this and that they have to change FOUR catalytic converters in the car.

Now my question: could pulling out the fuse and leaving the valves open permanently have caused this in any way?

No, pulling the fuse wouldn't cause this issue. These cars have a reputation for being hard on cats, I recommend upgrading to a highflow cat like the ones from RSC Tuning which I sell.

The improve HP, sound and last longer as well.

Better not remove any fuse from the car because they made to protect, and if you want a great sound you can change the exhaust system.
