Hello, I'm new to the forum and I'm looking to get into an 07 Vantage V8 in the near future. I have a couple of questions:
1) Does the automanual transmission have "launch control"? 2) Is the car quicker with the manual or the automanual, or pretty much even? 3) Is it true that removing "fuse 22" will keep the exhaust valves open? Thanks in advance, ATK |

I think the fuse thing is true. It seems plausible. If you cut power to a specific electronic system, then it would stop working, which would mean open exhaust valves. Just be careful though.

I was looking at 2 V8 Vantages 2 weeks ago. One was at a dealer in California, the other one on ebay. Tried to get the dealer to come down on the price by comparing the ebay vehicle with theirs. The ebay Aston had Quicksilver Sport exhaust on it, however the lady from the dealership told me that the sound can be achieved by removing fuse #22. Of course she had no idea what a Quicksilver does to an Aston, so I had to inform her. If a dealer tells you that it is OK to remove fuse #22, than just remove it
