Default Reading Oil Level

I'm new to Aston, and the dip stick is a little confusing to me.

Of course there are the words "low" and "Full", but there aren't really any marks at those points. Instead , between these words there's an area with "Hash-markings". My oil level is currently at the middle of these hash marks.

Is full at the word "full", or at the top of the hash marks? Is low at the word "low", or at the bottom of the has marks? The owner's manual isn't very clear on this.

Thanks,

Nick

Thanks for the reply, but I have this, and my dip stick isn't like the one depicted. That's my problem. When I get home, I'll post a pic of my actual dip stick to further illustrate what has me confused.
