Hi fellow Astonites, Do any of you owners of older Astons, mines a 1997 DB7 know how i can get other keys and remote fobs as i only have 1 of each which is a big worry i dread to think how much it would cost if i lost or damaged the only set i have.

Default Db7 Keys

1997 should be an airbag car? in which case there is something in the key and without the original red programming key you are stuck even through AM.However the key profile is Ford, if you take the key you have into a Ford garage they should be able to duplicate for less than £15 BUT this key can only be used to physically unlock doors or boot NOT ignition ,not the answer but may help if you lock your only key in the boot!

If fxdwgs says he got the key done, yours should be the same. The price was the bit that put me off that method!

well fellow Astonites been in contact with AM and they can do extra keys and remote fobs for the bargain price of around £315.00 the pair not cheap but thats the fun of owning an Aston !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i am relieved that it can be done a load of my mind. Just my electrical problem to sort out and life will be rosy, deep joy.
