Default repossed car

Good evening

I am looking at a 07 vantage, after looking at carfax it was disclosed that this car was repossed back to the bank. Dealer is asking $77500 w/12050 miles,It still has 10-11 months left on warrenty, however I dont know if car was "ever" kept up with service. I was able to find out the dealer who serviced the car (not whom is selling me car) but would only tell me that car was there within last year...Help I really like car but am concerned about the repo ...any sugguestions

Thank you......

I don't know about the USA, amigo, but in the UK there are several agencies that will help you ascertain the cars financial status, and establish whether or not it comes with any financial or other liabilities. The best known one is called H.P.I. , but I don't know if it can handle enquiries from the US. Speaking for myself, I'd be just as concerned as to the cars service history - doesn't it have it's service handbook or any bills to confirm it's servicing history ? You really should have some sort of evidence to confirm that it was serviced properly : if you don't it will reflect negatively on it's price when you come to sell it.

Sounds like it should go for about 10K less. Other than that, why would the service be such a big deal if it only has 12K miles?
