Does anyone know what the "Volante" badging on a DB 6 signifies ?

Indeed, although it's worth noting that the word "Volante" was first used on an Aston to denote a convertible with the DB6. DB5s and earlier are just convertibles or "drop head coupes".

Makes since and hence my confusion when looking at DB5's and then DB6's. Thanks for clarifying.
