Hi,

Currently I'm looking for a DB7 I6. No real prefference as to getting an automatic or manual gearbox, but if any of you have advice for or against either I'd appreciate it.

Cheers,
Chubbs. :)

I would prefer a Manual transmission with any car but that is only because I feel like you are ACTUALLY driving the vehicle. However, I have no personal experience with with Astons myself. (not yet at least!)

Good luck on your search!

The auto affords electronic shift which is controlled by buttons on steering wheel or just toggle the shifter, fore and aft; very cool.
I just bought my 03 DB7 v-12 volante

I've driven plenty of manuals and autos too (no Astons), and in all honestly, autos appeal to my lazy side. Just wondered if people have more problems with one or the other where reliability is concerned.
Cheers.

Congrats on your DB7VV, what a car!!!
I don't think the old Inline 6 have the touchtronics though... or do they?
Have fun, the volante will be great in a few weeks when Summer starts (depending on your location).
