Default Vantage Volante detail

Yesterday I looked at a Vant. Vol DB7 that had the straightforward grille of horizontal bars running across the nose cone air intake. However, the little vents in both front wings had wire mesh grilles. Is this correct or should I worry about the original air intake grille in the bonnet also having a mesh wire insert at sometime and therefore think that the car has had accident damage to the front at some stage ?

Marlin,

Only the DB7 GT had the mesh front grill as standard, the Vantage & Vantage Volante had the normal horizontal grill, but the mesh was an optional extra.
