Default V8 vantage seat stuck

My vantage seat will only move forward. Cant get it to go back at all and now cant get in to drive it.
Tried disconnecting the battery to no avail.
Seem to remember seeing this come up before.
Can any one help with a solution??

I experienced this once, actually while I was looking at the car before I purchased it. It should be a simple fix. Move both front seats completely forward. You will need to be out of the car to do this. Once the seats are fully forward, you should be able to move both backwards to their normal positions.

Default V8 Vantage Seat

The seat is fully forward and the back is tilted forward. It wont move in any direction now.
I got a reply from AM tech support that basically said the same thing.
Ive disconnected the battery and even pulled the fuse. Nothing works its stuck basically wrapped around the steering wheel !!

I’ve had this problem once. The trick is to make sure ALL the seat settings are in the forward and tilted positions. If one isn’t, the seat will be stuck.
