OK, seeing as this appears to be predominantly a modern era forum I thought maybe you younger chaps might appreciate seeing something from a past era of more elegant motoring. This is my 1958 DB MarkIII Saloon pictured at a photo shoot for a Classic Car magazine article last year and at Goodwood where it was displayed at the annual member's open day. :)

Thanks for sharing Rich!!! How long have you had it?
Rich,

Fantastic example and I love the photos. I really want to visit the Goodwood Revival. We did a piece on it last year in our magazine for a sister site. Awesome event, and I have lots of appreciation for the vintage cars.

Thanks for your comments, I assure you the engine it already has is fine! :)

The Lagonda 6 is a plenty good engine for the car... given that it was in the late 50s and weighed around 3000 lbs.

A question remains, (since I see the dual exhausts on your car, and given that yours was of 58') is that the DBB (high performance) spec engine?

Or was the dual exhaust fitted there as an extra option available on the DBA spec engine to slightly improve the performance?

Anyway, thank you very much for sharing, as my pre DB4 knowledge is rather void as of right now...but I would really like a zoom- in if possible on the green plank in front of the car in pic #4.. wonder what it says..
