Ok guys and girls...the ever untrustworthy Vantage strikes again!

My driver's side blower motor is giving adwance warning of it's impending departure from the living. Any tips on how to go about replacing the pesky rascal?

I noticed a slight 'lumpiness' in the idle yesterday morning...(and yes, I replaced all coils and plugs about 3,000 miles ago)...accompanied by the usual 'CHECK ENGINE' warning lamp. My OBDII reader displays an 1132 code and 'SEE MANUFACTURERS SERVICE MANUAL.' notice. Do any of you fine men and women have an idea of what the code # means? Naturally I don't have a manual...although I did bite the proverbial bullet this very morning which sadly, will not arrive until next week.

Thanks in advance all''

Well the blower is in place and working just fine, although air temp is not what I would consider 'cold'...cool yes, but certainly not cold. The procedure took about 10 hours to complete, but I suspect I can do it in half that time now that I know what needs to be removed and in what order. And now onto the next problem....the air distribution control has no effect on where air actually goes. Centre vents have just an ever so slight hint of cooling air flow while the door, windscreen and floor vents are blowing with full force. I took the car to a local a/c shop for an opinion on the temperature and gas level. The level seemed fine, however 'High side' pressure is significantly higher than spec. The tech suspects a system blockage, most probably caused by a clogged 'dryer'. So, now it's onto the next stage of this never ending saga...
