Hi Everyone

I am a newbie - its nice to be here and meet you all. I have a 2005 (05) DB9 supplied and serviced by HWM. The service book has been followed to the letter - I have a book full of stamps, with the 70,000 mile service being conducted at about 19,000 miles on the clock.

I've only done a couple of thousand miles since the last service and the 80,000 mile service is by rights due soon as I'm nearly a year past the timing of the 70,000 mile service. Any advice on approx costs of the 80,000 miler? Do I break the run of HWM stamps and go for Nicholas Mee or stick with HWM??:rolleyes::eek: By the way, over the phone NM have quoted £1014 inc VAT and HWM have quoted £1300 incl VAT

DB9 servicing

Hi Tim,
This sounds like one over serviced car! are we talking about a total mileage of 20,000 ish?T o be quite honest, apart form the stamps in the book, engine oil and filter change yearly, most other things every 2 ,or some 3,years.Even the engine oil is so high spec that on low mileage should be absolutely fine for 2 years. There is no gain from over servicing and there is a down side that as the car gets older, items not on the service schedule still get missed.....I do full day service inc all oils and engine oil filter £350,other parts and filters extra but it is a full day of single minded attention to your car
