I'm curious if this car is now in dealers. Anyone here on the list to buy one?

i think i saw one over at the importer, just haven't had the change to stop and drop in

the exotic car dealer in my street still has to do with the DB9, i haven't seen one there, and they usually have new models in pretty fast
V8 Vantage

I made a deposit last spring. Now , I hear that it MAY arrive this late spring!
All new Vantage V-8

I actually have the 2nd car being built.
Late feb to early march delivery.
I would consider selling for M.S.R.P+$20 K
When they hit if anyone has one they'll be more than that.
Have spec sheet available.
Welcome to Aston Martin Life. Congrats on getting this new gem so quickly.

Does anyone know how fast they are going to ramp up production on this? I know they want to go head to head with the Porsche 911, does this mean we can also expect 911 production numbers in the near future?
Production has just been completed on my V8 Vantage (LHD) and I should be receiving it sometime next week. I paid an extra $1,100 to have it sent by airfreight to save the one month transit by sea coming to Dubai. I ordered it in August.

As far as I know production is now in full swing, and the first cars were delivered in the UK and parts of western Europe more than a month ago. Production volumes will be limited to about 3,000 per year, which is 1/10th of the annual 911 production. I've been to the AM factory and they really couldn't produce any more cars than that even if they wanted to...everything is hand built.

Hello and welcome to the site. Thanks for the production info. That does make sense and as you stated these are built by hand. I just don't see how they can keep the price so low if the supply is so little. It will be interesting to see how they stack up in test against the 911 and other V8s in its class.
I just spent the day at my local dealer on Friday. He has a waiting list of 5 people for the V8V and is quoting 12-18 months for the Volante.

2 DB9 Volantes and 1 coupe are in the showroom, though. I fell in love with the DB9 Volante - it would be hard to go wrong with that.

I'll drive the V8 at the end of the month and hopefully have a better sense then of which car I like better.

Certainly let us know what you think of the cars after you drive them.
Andrew, et al:

I certainly will. Can't wait to get the call from the dealer that the car is in...
