2012 v8 vantage trunk latch

Dash warning light stays on and interior lights when trunk closed. Solution available? trunk opens and closes normally. Hopefully not the whole latch unit. Thanks!

I looked at the wiring diagram -- the trunk open/closed switch is integrated into the motor/latch assembly.

I got same problem last month and it got detected by a car detailer who's brand is orionautodetailing.com/
