This has the potential to be a great site IMO, but I doubt most of the AMOC crowd will appear out of fear that the fellow who runs that forum in a somewhat dictatorial manner will not approve.
I will hang out here more as long as they don't decide to charge 95 quid a year to be a member and /or make condescending remarks If you don't cough up.

Just been inspired to join this forum since the AMOC forum seems to be on its arse
I would be happy to pay a reasonable sub to the AMOC to go towards maintaining the forum and maybe a news letter now and then. But £95 would represent very bad value for me and I don't like being ripped off. AMOC has many, many directors and I do wonder if some of them have their noses in the trough, so to speak.
Also known some of mine and others freely given replies to technical queries to have been moved to private areas of the forum which only paid up members can access. Its not right for the AMOC to try to charge people to view content freely given by others.
Also advertising on the AMOC forum is 'verboten' with some rubbish excuse given for removing my posts, something about liability? But I was told that it was okay if I gave them £20 I could post it in the classifieds section... and would you believe this was for something I was trying to GIVE away!!

Apparently you can still access the AMOC Forum with a smartphone or tablet device, so If you only have a PC/laptop you are out of luck.
Could it be that they figured out that most of the non-members only have PC's?

Yes I noticed it was OUT OF ORDER last week before we jetted off to Spain for our mini break. Back now anyhow. It was hot BTW and we had a nice time.Welcome to where the paupers hang out.

Yesterday we were in Porto Banus ( Marbella ) and I spotted a 2005 Vanquish for sale in a boat yard showroom!!!!!! 70k euros it was and it was in SHITE state I have to say.
Saw a DB9 parked up too but that was there last time in the same spot so it appears it just sits still all the time gathering dirt which is a shame.
I too agree with most comments above in this thread. The AMOC appear to have finally shot themselves up the ARSE!!!!
All I have to say about that is F**K EM.
Now lets all enjoy this FREE forum and make it a good one for all us PROPER enthusiasts and NON of those stuck up gits.
They can all go and sit around there dinner tables making use of their black tie attire and talking B*llocks all night about the good olde days which have now by the looks of things come to an end!!!!!! LOL
