Nice review, as usual.

From my superficial reading on the situation, part of the complaint from AML was that Nebula didn't remit the required deposits to AML as contractually required. If I was Nebula, looking at Aston's financial condition, I would have been concerned and hesitant to place deposits with AML and place myself in the middle of a potential legal dispute, if AML went bankrupt before delivering the cars.

In the past, I've made payments to a company for building a product for me, but I went to the company's bank and paid extra for a guarantee if there was a default/bankruptcy. Not sure if something like this was even possible given AML's precarious financial condition.

Not even sure if this was the issue but the Nebula/AML contract could have been a sticky situation. As usual, the Devil is in the details.
