Boot/Trunk door

Anyone out there have a remedy for a squeaking boot lid on a 2009 V8Vantage coupe? It sounds like the weatherstripping along the right edge of the door may be the source. I applied some silicone paste to the weatherstripping in that area with no marked improvement. Other suggestions? Thanks.
