I recently purchased an Aston Martin and am very afraid to do the interior cleaning myself, but still I want to do it myself. Are there universal ways to care for the interior and exterior that are safe for surfaces, as well as for health?

I often use a Pro steam cleaner with a minimum steam pressure of 20 bar to clean and detail the interior. This allows the steam to penetrate deeper and effectively remove dirt. Based on extensive research and testing, it's best to steer clear of the Optima steamer for cleaning your car Do not buy the Optima steamer before reading this internet reviews about them are mixed and I just want to warn you to avoid making mistakes (these steam cleaners are heavily advertised).

I purchased a custom sized (free option) Coco Mat mats to protect the original floor mats in my DB9 Volante. I had purchased AM driver/passenger and trunk mats but they didn't fit very well. When questioned, I was told there were only one seat of mats for all of the cars. Coco Mat will send you a paper pattern that can be custom fit to the car. This really reduces the interior wear and costs much less than the AM floor mats.
