:eek:Just got some shocking news. I have a leak in my 2003 DB7 engine coolant bottle. This will be the third since new. The others have been under warranty, but this one is not covered. The price tag on a bottle is $1,300.00 canadian. I tried the US, the best I got was $691.49. Wow, that's all I have to say. Well I think I am just going to use some boat resin to repair the seem on the bottle. Just thought I would let some of you know how suck a basic item ( an air tight bottle) could cost so much.

Do you have a local metal shop that could fabricate a new one out of steel or aluminum?

Never thought of that. I am sure it would last a long time too. But I think I am going to use the boat resin first. It's only about 1-1 1/2 in along the seem. The boat resin should do the trick. Thanks for your seggestion though. If my idea doesn't work I will try the fabricating idea.
