look at the difference in these 2 pictures of the same DB5 Volante.

sadly i can't get the pictures the same size but look at the difference in the gap around the tyres

Broken offside spring (or wrong one) perhaps?

It is not a broken spring it is down to the fact that the tyres are different diameters. many people fitting radial tyres to DB Astons end up with tyres that are too small in diameter.
