Hello,
I've found a beautiful 1997 DB7 convertible in California with a very low mileage. The car is currently on the water. I should receive it end of July but I’ve already a question concerning the Euro COC and the homologation.
To put it on the road in Belgium, I need to replace the front indicators which is quite easy but I also have to connect the rear fog lights. What is the best option? Connect the rear ones to the front ones and use one unique button? Is it easy?
Thank you in advance.
Ya

The US spec cars don't usually have rear fogs included - even though the lamp units look exactly the same as the EU spec ones. I have the same problem; to date, I have exchanged the switch unit wood cover for one with a hole to accommodate the rear fog light switch, and fitted/tested the switch (you can fit a new switch straight in to the panel behind the wood trim, the fittings are already there). Next, the rear lamp units will either have to be modified to have fogs, or replaced with EU ones that already have the fogs in them (this is my preferred route). Then you have to wire the 2 together. Simples? Not; I dont believe the wiring exists in the US loom, so wiring them up is likely to be a pain to do properly, as it will entail removal of much of the car interior. A chepaer alternative may be a separate under car cable.....?
