Hi Everyone,
Forgive me if I'm not familiar with the formalities of this forum, but I'm new here and I have a question. I have a 1997 Aston Martin DB7 (Supercharged) coupe, and am having a problem with one of the key fobs/remotes. One of the fobs died so I bought brand new CR2016 batteries for both fobs and changed out the batteries on both (figuring the other one might go soon as well). After changing the batteries and testing the remotes, only one will unlock/lock the doors and open the trunk. However both blink green when pressing the unlock/lock button and blink red when pressing the trunk release button (as they both would under normal operation). Could there be some kind of electrical short? Is the remote simply in need of a reprogramming? Is this common? Please fill me in and let me know, thanks!
