From what I've seen, it's not uncommon for the unit it's self to fail. These same CD players are used in Ferraris and what not also...problematic there also.
DB7 Vantage - Disk (?) error with Alpine CD disk changer
Hi,
I just acquired a 2001 DB7 Vantage with Alpine audio system and Alpine 6 CD disk changer in the trunk. The CD player does not function any more (it did until a week ago). When I select CD player as a source it says "D3 error".
I took out the disk holder, changed the CDs in the holder and put it back in, but this did not help
. Does anyone know a cure for this problem?
