Hi All,

I'm trying to track down a couple of parts for my now slightly damaged 2000 model v12 DB7. I need;
- LH headlight
- LH front splash guard (big plastic thing that is inside the wheel arch under the guard/wing).
- LH Front side indicator
- LH outter steering rack rod (can be separated, though am guessing i will need the whole steering rack...?)

Thanks so much for your help,

Regards,

Julian

Hi Julian, sorry to hear about your knock but all the items you need are available albeit they will be VERY expensive to buy especially the headlight.

Ebay will be your first port of call so persevere on there first but the best place I recently used to have my complete steering rack overhauled for £500 ( he had the car and did all the work ) and £250 if you send him the rack via his courier service was WESTERN POWER STEERING in BATH/BRISTOL area.

You get a 2 year warrantee on the unit too and he has done HUNDREDS of Aston Martins over the years and continues to do so all the time.

Give him a try and ebay for the rest of your parts needed.

Hi Julian,

Wecome to the dark side.

You should really post this thread in the Bloxham section of the forum, I presume you are in the UK so you may want to put that in your signature.

As Brendan pointed out, headlights seem to be bananas money , this place has a new one for nearly a thousand quid:-

Aston Martin Bits prices used to be pretty reasonable, but over the last couple of years they have launched them to the moon.

He has a Dymag Classic Wheel for sale ATM which I want for a spare, but he is asking more for the one then I paid for a new set.

You may want to price your parts new from HWM , you may find out they are about the same price as some are asking now for used stuff.

Another option is to buy from the USA, prices are currently low for used AM parts and the exchange rate is completely in your favour, shipping can be expensive , but I have got some great deals via Transglobal Express in the UK.

I know its a LHD spec light, but I'm pretty sure with some work it could be altered for RHD use -:
