Ok, dash lights are very dim! Takes a bit for them to even brighten enough to see them once turned on but they do come on but maybe only 40-50%brightness! if you turn on the fog lamps they go out completely and the fog lamps do not come on! I have a shop manual! im not very proficient at reading electrical diagrams but it appears to me they are on the same circuit! relay possibly? if I had a ground failure I would think neither would work! I’m thinking dimmer switch or fog light switch. When I turn the fog light switch on you can see it is on but barely lights up. All other switch indicators light up strongly as in lights are bright when I turn them on. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with this problem? Any help appreciated

I have a similar problem on my 2005 DB9. In bright sunlight the mileage and trip readings are barely readable, no matter how much I twiddle the adjusting pop-up knob next to the light switch. On another forum (6Speed) a member had a problem with a polarizing filter coating on his, which he removed and got much improved clarity... but I think my issue sounds more like what is happening to you. I haven't checked to see if other lights are affected but having read your post, I will take a peek tomorrow.
What model and year do you have?
