I've posted this in the General Discussion area as well....Upfront...I've been lurking for a few weeks. Interested in purchasing a pre-owned Vantage V8. Before I actually go for a test drive, what are the top 5 mechanical/cosmetic items you would really coach me on taking a very close look at, given your experience with AM. It's taken for granted that documentation is #1. I probably wouldn't purchase without this being available and detailed. Your thoughts are welcomed.

1. Dash leather peels on top part
2. Bluetooth intervenes with speakers and causes poor audio issues.
3. Throttle body is known to go bad fairly quick, listen for ticking noise.

These cars are pretty epic/solid otherwise. I have had 3 so far. 2 (07) and 1 (09) - I loved all just as much and all were solid no issue cars.

I'm investigating one...struggling with a Car Proof/CarFax issue. Trying to get to the bottom of it. Not always easy as I'm finding out.

I'd be happy to share my experience so far. I ordered an V8 Vantage, new, from Grand Touring in 2006. It took more than a year to get it....now a 2007 model. Gorgeous !
