Looking for a GT DBS vs Ferrari 612

Owned a Ferrari 612 a while back and liked it. considering getting another GT for long road trips again. Considering both another 612 or possibly a DBS. If we do go the DBS route, what should we look for when buying.

While I cannot speak to the 612, a beautiful car for sure and I have not owned a DBS but, have had two versions of AM V12s. Feedback here would prolly be similar to mine. I think the AM is a timeless beautiful design and prefer it over the 612. Knock wood, mine have been trouble free as well. Can't go wrong either way but, I would go for the AM.

Agree that the AM V12s win in the looks department vs. the 612. How is reliability. Heard a lot about "bespoke challenges" on DB9s.

Had my DB9 for 16 months and a couple minor issues when I received it (it was a new 2010 model I bought in 2012 with 58 miles) but, other than that nothing. Rock solid.

Good to hear. Have heard from a few others though about a large number of minor annoying electrical issues and things like the fuel filler flap refusing to open.
