Hi- just bought a 2003,Vantage Volante V12. Deep Emerald green, patina. Beautiful. One previous owner in New York allowed snow melting minerals to create rusty underside. Color not quite BRG., 24,500 miles.
Now working down my list of needed Fixes!
Any British Auto clubs in Southwest Florida? Sarasota, Bradenton, Naples ???
Pls reply to/ [email protected]
Thank you Lex

I got this a week or two ago ....looks like a cool idea:

Good Morning all Aston owners in SW Florida. As the recently appointed Chair of the AMOC SWFL Region I would like to invite all of you living between South of Sarasota and Marco Island to connect with me directly: [email protected]
We want to get our Club really going with great events and social activities. So please reach out whether you are already an AMOC member or not. Robert

Here is a suggestion on how to deal with the surface rust on the undercarriage. There is a relatively new technology that works very well for issues like you're up against. They blast the problem areas with Dry ice pellets. It is not abrasive at all and cleans like a sand blaster basically but no mess or risk of damage to sensitive sensors and other parts under the car. This is some unbelievable stuff. I think this tech is taking off with franchises coming all over the U.S.
I would get it up on a lift and pull off all the plastic undercarriage shields, wheel wells etc and let them at it. It'll look brand new when finished. I am considering doing this to the bottom of my DBS and Ferrari 458. Even cleans oil staining off aluminum oil pans and all undercarriage stained locations.

Just a thought. Good luck!
