:)hello this is mike,in sept''or earlier if i find the right one'' i plan to purchase a 05 06 db9,i have some questions and concerns,1,should i stay away from a 05 being it is the first prod year? 2what kind and how long are the fact. warranty's/what are some common probs.with these cars?''every car has them'':confused:also i plan to add a body kit i prefer a sub tile change when doing this and like to stay o.e.m.,my first choice would be purchasing dbs parts but after researching on this forum some members say a.m. is reluctant on selling these parts for retrofitting etc.my second choice is the kahn anyone have experience with this kit? the mansory is a little over the top for my taste altho i like the rear bumper and defuser.any comments and photos would be appreciated thanks mike,

i found this one on autotrader,it has the exterior color i want and the price is perfect any input on those miles 30k,? http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.j...n=&max_price=99000&cardist=955&standard=false
As long as it has been serviced properly, miles should not be an issue.

DB9 will hold value better is you keep it original. Adding kits etc will likely make it harder to sell eventually.

Correct on Aston and the DBS parts, they will not normally sell them to you.

thanks for the input boxer,im going to test drive one monday.
people who add "kits" to their Astons should be banned from owning one

A rather broad sweeping statement:

- if you are racing the Aston, would this prevent you from adding spoilers to improve performance ?

- what about the DB7, it is build off a Jaguar base, does this make it a Jaguar kit car ?

But mikeauto6 dosn't want the body kit to race the car, he thinks it will enhance its apperance.....but I will agree with you that the DB7 was a Jaguar kit car made up from the parts bins of Ford and its subsiduary Jaguar......however it never concerned me thats why I was lucky to own 2 DB7's
If you can afford a 2007 than get one. The DBS kit would spice up the car nicely. Just don't label it a DBS.
agreed:D

also agreed with Aston Martin Trader.......put the DBS badge on, and you would be shot at dawn in the UK !

speaking of which, every time I go through London, I am shocked at the number of Astons on the streets. If they are not careful, the exclusivity will disappear.

to many City bonuses...........
Not an issue this year :D:D

Screwing & glueing fibreglass on a "hand" crafted aluminium masterpiece .... nooo .. however I did put the Khan 20" wheels on my DB9 & I'm really happy .. about as far as I would go.
