I need advice on buying a used Aston Martin V8 Vantage
My budget is less than $70,000 US

This puts most 2007 and older cars in my budget.
Some 2008 cars
Some 2009 cars

I'd prefer the 2009+ engine, interior, etc. But I would not feel disappointed in an older car.

The paddle shift transmission is NOT a requirement. Neither is Navigation.

Any advice is appreciated -

So I just bought a 2006 DB9. 15000 miles on it. Didn't get much advise from anybody. I surfed the web for advice already out there. There isn't much. 6speedonline is another forum where I read about DB9. I already have a DB7 Volante and love it. However there is no better looking car in existence than the DB9. Your right under 70000 will get you a an older model. However taillight change to clear and updated wheels will make it look up to date. I would only say see the dealer service records. When I looked through the car I purchased Aston put a new engine in it at 10000 miles due to a tick in the engine. It was about 28k on the dealer records. Aston did it under warranty but still expensive. Also rear shocks replaced due to seeping at 12000 miles. Not cheap. Hope you find one.
