Hello folks I just purchased my new 2021 Vantage Manual today. Dont get it until August 10th via transport. I"m coming from a manual Audi R8 V10 so it will be interesting to see.
Well so far I've powder coated the wheels and love the new look but I'm a little disappointed that in only 200miles I have an Airbag light on, my passenger door is rubbing on the door sill, scratching the paint and my gas cap lock is broken. I also am hearing a slight wining sound from the transmission. Its a manual and it sound like a throw out bearing. Going to the dealer tomorrow, Fingers crossed
Beautiful car. The airbag lights come on in my 2010 DBS (and the 2007 Vantage I had before the DBS) when the seats are back too far. The pressure of the back of the seats pushing up against the rear bulkhead triggers the sensor. I am guessing you have the same problem. Just move the seats forward so they are no longer pushing up against anything. My manual Vantage also whined a little in lower gears, especially when cold. It did not affect performance and I drove it for 80,000 miles before changing out the clutch (I got lucky with that mileage!). .
200 more miles and she is running flawless. Transmission is quiet now. Go figure?
