Apologies if this seems simple or has been raised before, but can anyone tell me how you exit Touchtronic mode and go back to fully automatic in a 2005 DB9?

Just press the 'D' button.
Mine’s a 2015, but probably works the same; Sure you can reach across while driving and push the D button, but what I prefer is to use the paddles. To restore full auto mode from manual mode, simply hold in the + lever for a second or so. What I particularly like is switching from D into Neutral: Simply pull back on both levers. I often do this while at a Stop light. When it’s time to go, pull back on the + lever and it’ll switch into D. No need to reach across and touch any buttons.
