Beautiful car, I moved from a 991.1 Turbo to a 19 Vantage, I couldn't be more pleased. The 911 is "better" in so many ways, but the experience isn't just 0-60, my 911 was tuned to 2.9 seconds . . . and I rarely ever did it, the Vantage 3.5 seconds is plenty fast and I don't floor that either. The new body style has haters (be aware), as well as for the AMG engine, but all that matters is that you like your car, HaHa Good luck with your sale/trade, be sure to post your new ride! KH

I might as well, belatedly, throw my 2 cents in.

I have been a Porsche fan and owner for decades. I still own two of them. Great all around car and very easy to live with. If anybody ever ask me for a sports car recommendation, Porsche is my “ go to”. Great value, very capable, fun…

I also have a MY 19 Vantage. In some ways I love it but it’s certainly not as easy to live with as a Porsche. I love the looks. Was smitten the first time I saw one, and I can’t say that about the previous gen that I liked but never desired to own one. I love that when I pull into a parking lot, and there are three or four Porsches, I hardly ever see another Aston. I get approached every time I get gas, or pull into a parking lot by people giving me a thumbs up. I think it helps that the car is cinnabar orange, People just seem to take a shine to it. Sure, I’ve had compliments with my Porsches in the past but not to the extent I do with the Aston. It stands out even more than my yellow Porsche did. Doesn’t bother me in the least.

The downside is that everything about the car is much harder to deal with and much more expensive than a Porsche. Service/ repairs are 1) only available from my local dealer, no independents and 2) pretty much twice the price that I would pay from Porsche. They also take much longer in general. Porsche has outstanding customer service. My Aston dealer is great but if you ever have to deal with Aston corporate they totally suck. They act like a company in crisis and given their precarious financial position, I don’t know if this has always been the case or it is just a result of being on the brink.

I’m sure you’ll mostly enjoy your new Aston. Just remember that even if the Vantage is not super expensive, the repairs, maintenance, etc. is like owning a “super” car. The Porsche is more like owning a fancy car. Even my usual insurance company wouldn’t insure it and at the time they were covering three Porsches.

Anyway, good luck with finding the car you want.

She is a beaut! I think it is just enough of edgy and nondescript. The sound is better than any Porsche I have had
