The clutch and gearbox are major weaknesses. Make sure both are in good condition.
Vanquish Purchase
Morning.
Looking at buying an Aston Martin Vanquish, over here in Australia, 04 UK import all compliance and looks a very nice example. Full Aston service history both UK and Aus' Can anyone give advice on what I need to look out for.

Agree with F40, transmission is a concern with thew Vanquish. Google Hugh Grant and find his piece about his Vanquish getting stuck in Park. Have heard same from a few other Vanquish owners. Pretty cars, just not as reliable as the DB9 or Vantage
The paddle transmission on the early Vanquishes can get out of alignment easily and then you run into a whole host of issues. OK if it is set up and driven properly, Major issue if not.
