Hi Everyone,

New to the group and recent Aston Martin owner of a 2007 Vantage, I have been meaning to join as would be good to get more involved and get to know more people!
I was hoping to join under better terms but have a friends 2017 Vanquish S that recently has been misbehaving with 'brake failure and engine fault lights, it then loses the complete dashboard not showing speedo/rev/fuel/coolant guages, no display of gear selection etc but also noticed the drivers window/wingmirror switches do not operate either and the vehicle will no longer lock. The car does occasionally come alive again but is currently stuck with this issue and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue?

Thanks for any help in advance and also looking forward to getting to know you all.

My first question would be what is condition of the battery and its voltage - these cars do not take kindly to low voltage or battery issues. If they are not driven often they should be on a quality battery maintainer like Ctek.

Ditto, have had ferraris, maseratis DB9 and 645ci and all are very finicky with correct battery voltages. I would start at the battery.

Thank you for the replies, it seems we are all on the same theory of the battery as we had only just swapped it out yesterday and so far the issue doesn't seem to be present.

Thanks again and look forward to joining in more :)
